By Air:

One can travel through airlines to bahawalpur city. Bahawalpur has an airport about 1 Km from the city. P.I.A. operates weekly flights to Karachi, Lahore, lslamabad, Multan and Faisalabad via Bahawalpur.

By Rail:

Bahawalpur is connected by its railway station 24/7 with almost all parts of the country and lies on the main track between Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.

By Road:

Bahawalpur also has a connection with other cities of the country through roads. Fom the main Bus Stand of the city buses and coaches flow to all areas. Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab operate a regular deluxe coach service between Lahore and Multan.

Another famous product from Bahawalpur is its sweets called sohan halwa available in the main Bazzar through the Farid Gate. Bahawalpuri hand made chaddars are well known for their quality and people from all over the country come here to purchase these chaddars.

Bahawalpur is also known for its beautifull bahawalpuri style jewlery available in jewlers market near Shehzadi chowk main Bazzar also known as Machli Bazzar. Other products can be purchased from the main Bazzars namely Shahi Bazzar, Machli Bazzar, Giri Ganj Bazzar, Fateh Khan Bazzar etc.
